C12Q.

A combo twelve with a present bite and early musical breakup.

punchyice-pick

The darkest voice in the cohort.

The C12Q has the darkest voice in the cohort — a family scoop and a tall presence peak, with no air above it. Where the P12R and C12R peak into piercing or ice-pick territory, the C12Q's peak reads chimey and defined — the same dB of rise, but positive character at the cone rather than harsh. Dark top, warm peak, loose bass. A scooped Jensen without the spike.
