Celestion
G12M Greenback.

A twenty-five-watt twelve with a broader, vocal upper-mid peak, gentler spectral tilt than the Vintage 30, and early thermal compression at cranked-Plexi volume.

Broader, vocal, mid-loaded — character not cut.

The Greenback's voice is broader and more vocal than the Vintage 30's — same magnitude of presence rise, but spread across a wider band and sitting slightly lower in it, so the speaker reads as mid-loaded rather than forward-cutting. The spectral tilt is gentle rather than steep; the rolloff above the corner is shallower than the V30's, which means there's marginally more top-octave content, not less, but the broader peak distributes the energy and the overall presentation stays warm. No scoop, no honky bark, no piercing edge above the peak; the lower mids are flat and out of the way. A mid-vocal British top end on a clean canvas underneath — the speaker that reads as character rather than cut.
