G12H Anniversary.
A thirty-watt twelve with a narrow upper-mid peak lower in the band than the Vintage 30 and the steepest top-octave rolloff in the batch.
Fig. 01 - SPL response, on axis, 1m
Narrow British peak, dark above it.
The G12H Anniversary's voice is the darkest-topped of the modern British Celestion cluster — a gently downward spectral tilt, a narrow upper-mid peak sitting lower in the band than the Vintage 30's (closer to two-and-a-half kilohertz than three), and the steepest top-octave rolloff in this batch. The peak is high-Q, like the Vintage 30's, but with less rise and placed earlier; the speaker reads as forward and focused rather than cutting or biting. Above the corner there is no air — the top octave is gone harder than on any other speaker here. Bass reads lean. Lower mids stay quiet. A narrow, dark British presence on a clean canvas underneath.
